April 27, 2020

Thank you for your cooperation during these challenging times!

Effective May 4, 2020, we will resume more normalized operations at our Branches. Our Parma, Strongsville, and Medina Branches will be Monday through Thursday, 9:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m.; Friday, 9:00 a.m.-6:00 p.m.; and Saturday, 9:00 a.m.-2:00 p.m.

Members will notice new safety measures that have been implemented: our employees will be required to wear masks or other face coverings, sneeze guards have been installed throughout our branches, and floor decals will help maintain proper social distancing. Additionally, high-traffic and high-touch areas will be sanitized. We continue to remind our employees about the importance of good-hygiene-washing hands frequently with soap and water for at least 20 seconds and being sure to avoid touching your face with unwashed hands.

As always, members can access your account securely anytime, anywhere with PSE Credit Union’s Online Banking Program or Mobile App. Members can also go to our website @ WWW.PSECREDITUNION.ORG to apply for a loan.

We thank you for your membership, and its times like this that confirm the strength of our credit union and the communities we serve!

There is no higher priority for our entire PSE family than the health and safety of our members, employees, and communities we serve. As the virus continues to spread in the United States and Northeast Ohio, we take the threat very seriously. Our Senior Management Team is continuously monitoring the evolving situation and having daily discussions.

The following internal precautionary and preparatory measures have been enacted to keep our members and employees safe, while minimizing disruption of our service to our members:

  • We are in continuous communication with our employees to remind them about the importance of good hygiene.
  • In order to maintain “social distancing,” we are temporarily modifying branch access to our members at our Parma, Strongsville, and Medina branches. Effective Friday, March 20, lobby traffic will be appointment only for loans! You can simply call the Parma branch--440-843-8300, Strongsville branch--440-572-3830, or Medina branch--330-661-0160 to arrange an appointment to apply for a loan or sign for a loan that is in process.
  • Members can also go to our website @ WWW.PSECREDITUNION.ORG to apply for a loan.
  • Our Drive Thru-Lanes will remain open at our Parma, Strongsville, and Medina branches during our normal hours--Monday through Thursday, 9:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m.; Friday, 9:00 a.m.-6:00 p.m.; and Saturday, 9:00 a.m.-2:00 p.m.

We encourage you to access your account securely anytime, anywhere with PSE Credit Union’s Online Banking program or Mobile App. If you haven’t already, make sure your login and passwords for Mobile and Online applications are up to date and accurate.

Protect yourself from fraud. Remember that PSE Credit Union will NEVER proactively call, email, or text you asking you to provide confidential information, including your account numbers. If you receive communications like these, do not respond and report it immediately to PSE Credit Union.

Stay in the know and follow us on our social channels, visit our website, and check your email inbox for the latest updates, including changes to operating hours, if needed.

Dear Member:

At PSE Credit Union, Inc., the health and well-being of our members, staff and communities is our top priority. We understand the concern and uncertainty you may be experiencing surrounding the coronavirus (COVID-19) and are committed to the needs of our members and staff as the situation evolves. Our main focus is to keep the credit union safe and free from infection, so that we can ensure that we will be able to continue providing excellent service to our members.

As the coronavirus continues to grow within the United States, more organizations like ours are taking proactive precautions to guard against the spread of this disease.

We have a Business Continuity Plan in place, which includes pandemic planning. Our Senior Management Team is continually meeting to review, update and enact portions of our plan as needed.

In the meantime:

  • We’ve increased the frequency and thoroughness of our cleaning schedules in all offices.
  • Hand sanitizer is available at all locations.
  • Employees are being asked to stay home if they are not feeling well, and have been provided with the CDC’s guidelines for preventing the spread of the virus.

Our goal is to provide you with uninterrupted service. However, if you are not feeling well, please avoid visiting a branch.

The Centers For Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) is advising the public to stay home when sick, and to avoid close contact with people who are sick. For these reasons, we are encouraging our members to use PSE Credit Union’s online banking program for self-service banking and 24/7 account access. You can access your accounts online or by using the PSE mBanking Mobile app at your convenience. From there you can make payments, view transactions, check balances, find an ATM and more. It’s easier and faster in most cases to manage your account digitally. If you haven’t enrolled in online access, it only takes a few minutes. Enroll now.

We also understand that there may be instances where members find themselves facing financial difficulties. PSE Credit Union is here to help and we encourage members who may be impacted to reach out to us. If you need assistance, please contact us at: 440-545-5139.

As always, we are here to serve you our loyal members. Please visit us at for the latest updates. Or, give us a call at 440-545-5139 for questions you may have about online banking or the mobile app.

In light of the recent concerns about the spread of the coronavirus, or COVID-19, I want to make sure you know that PSE Credit Union has a comprehensive Business Continuity Plan, which identifies key personnel, ensures inter-departmental cross-training of employees, and confirms all written procedures are updated. As part of our Business Continuity Plan, we also have a formal Pandemic Plan in place to ensure our Credit Union is positioned to provide consistent, critical service levels to our members should there be a pandemic outbreak in the United States.

Should circumstances worsen, please be reassured we are prepared, we are monitoring the situation, and we will communicate directly with you through our regular communication channels and or publish information on our website if the need arises.
